Role Summary and Impact

Reporting into the Account Director, as an experienced Senior Account Executive, the AV Account Manager role is predominantly to support the more senior members of the AV team in the day-to-day running of client campaigns. A good understanding of the principal elements of the TV market is expected by now and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Having mastered your craft as a proficient and confident buyer to date, your remit will remain largely as a buyer for TV and VOD however, planning will play a bigger role and you will look towards taking on the responsibility of planning smaller clients / campaigns.

A good understanding of the AV tools necessary for the job i.e. - TechEdge, BARB, MediaOcean, MScreen, The OneAV Process, our OMA and OMS systems etc. An understanding of cinema and OOHTV is also necessary.

There is also a requirement to train and develop AV Senor/Account Execs in your team with a keenness and an ability to share your knowledge is necessary.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Consistent day to day excellence in delivery of TV and VOD campaigns
  • Preparation and sending out of weekly TV spot times to clients, with minimal support from your Manager
  • Ensure best practice buying approach across all the Accounts you work on, utilising the OneAV, OMA and OMS approaches. It will be expected you can buy with minimal supervision and with zero errors
  • Being on top of buying admin is imperative. i.e., ensure accuracy of numbers and reporting by ensuring reconciliations are agreed, up to date and master rec is accurate
  • Ensure accurate spends in TVP/DM & Core M.
  • Basic planning of spot costs / planning on smaller campaigns
  • Expectation to be able to handle day to day client requests with confidence
  • Support on response to briefs with the Planning Department
  • Confidence at preparing competitive analysis reports for clients
  • Confidence in preparing client PCA’s and reports for the clients you work on
  • Ensure all financial procedures are adhered to, and your accounts are SOx compliant
  • Complete accurate audit trackers and flag anytime replans need to be made to hit PRF’s.
  • Assist in the support, training and development of the Senior Account Executives and Account Executives that work across your portfolio of clients.
  • Saleshouse implementation co-ordinator for the AV Team
