Role Summary and Impact 

As a Regional Senior Planning Manager, you will lead end-to-end media strategy for regional campaigns, driving a clear, integrated approach across channels and markets.

This role sits at the centre of regional and local integration, setting the strategic planning framework and ensuring consistency and quality across local market executions, while local teams retain ownership of campaign delivery.

You will work closely with global teams, local markets, and specialist functions to deliver performance-driven, insight-led campaigns across digital, traditional, and influencer channels.

Role Responsibilities

  • Leading cross-channel (digital, traditional, influencer), full-funnel media strategy for regional campaigns
  • Partnering with specialist teams (biddable, programmatic, content, influencer) to translate strategy into execution and drive performance optimisation
  • Working with the Planning Director to define planning frameworks and approaches for local markets
  • Ensuring alignment, consistency, and quality across market executions
  • Supporting strategic client conversations, connecting media strategy to business outcomes
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to strengthen planning capability

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, or Business (postgraduate preferred)
  • 5–7+ years of experience in media planning or a related field, ideally with regional or multi-market exposure
  • Strong understanding of the digital media ecosystem, with hands-on experience across Search and Social to deliver full-funnel strategies
  • Experience in influencer marketing is a plus
  • Good understanding of the SEA media landscape, including Gen Z behaviours and emerging trends

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong grounding in media planning, with the ability to translate business objectives into clear, strategic media approaches
  • Familiarity with end-to-end campaign processes (planning, implementation, optimisation, reporting) across channels
  • Ability to work across multiple markets and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and consistency
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective project management, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Confident in stakeholder communication across regional and local teams
  • Familiarity with research tools and data sources to derive insights
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic, and agile environment

In 3 months

  • Established strong alignment with global, regional, and local stakeholders
  • Built strong relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Gained clear understanding of regional priorities, campaign roadmap, and KPIs
  • Established effective cross-market collaboration and communication cadence
  • Oversee and guide the implementation, optimisation, and reporting processes across markets

In 6 months

  • Leading regional campaign planning end-to-end
  • Delivering clear and consistent planning frameworks adopted across markets
  • Ensuring high-quality, aligned local plans across key markets
  • Driving strong role-of-channel and full-funnel strategies
  • Contributing to stakeholder discussions with insight-led recommendations
  • Demonstrating solid understanding of campaign performance and optimisation, translating results into actionable insights

In 12 months

  • Recognised as a strong regional planning lead across teams
  • Supporting consistency and quality across market plans
  • Contributing to client strategy, campaign success, and business impact
  • Helping establish best practices and scalable frameworks
  • Successfully balancing regional strategy with local market needs
  • Strengthening team capability through coaching and guidance
