Role Summary and Impact

We’re looking for a well-organised and motivated Account Executive to join our team. You’ll help plan and run marketing campaigns for a high profile tech client. Most of the work will be in digital channels, but you will also support other types of advertising (like CTV and OOH). This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of cutting-edge marketing initiatives for a globally recognised brand.

This is a great role for someone early in their career who wants to learn how marketing campaigns are built, launched, and tracked in a fast-paced agency environment.

What You’ll Do:
Campaign Support

  • Work with others to make sure all deadlines and timelines are on track, proactively identifying potential roadblocks and communicating them to the wider team.
  • Double-check campaign information to make sure everything is accurate and aligned with client objectives.
  • Help put together campaign plans and make sure all the right details are incorporated, including supporting the development of media briefs for partners.

Day-to-Day Coordination

  • Make sure all the advertising content (like images or videos) is ready and sent to the right people on time.
  • Keep track of which ads are running where, and make sure everything launches smoothly across various platforms.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners (e.g., ad platforms, publishers, creative agencies) to keep things moving.

Budget & Finance Help

  • Help update spreadsheets that track campaign budgets and costs.
  • Make sure all purchases are properly recorded and confirmed with the finance team. This includes managing purchase orders (POs) and vendor invoicing.
  • Support with monthly checks to ensure everything is to budget, and assist with budget reconciliation.

Performance & Reporting

  • Help gather campaign results so the team can see what worked well. This involves pulling data from various sources and ensuring its accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing presentations to share those results with clients, contributing to key insights and learnings.
  • Make sure data is entered correctly and clearly into reporting templates and dashboards.

Support with Processes

  • Help keep templates and documents up to date so that everyone is working consistently.
  • Take notes during meetings and help keep task lists organised.
  • Maintain shared project management tools to track tasks, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to existing workflows and documentation.

Skills and Experience

At WPP Media, we believe in the power of our culture and our people. It’s what elevates us to deliver exceptional experiences for both our clients and each other. In this role it will be critical to embrace WPP & WPP Media’s shared core values:

  • Be Extraordinary by Leading Collectively to Inspire transformational Creativity.
  • Create an Open environment by Balancing People and Client Experiences by Cultivating Trust.
  • Lead Optimistically by Championing Growth and Development to Mobilize the Enterprise.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint or Google equivalents.
  • Clear communicator and team player.
  • Interest in digital advertising and learning how campaigns work behind the scenes.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • A natural problem-solver, keen to find efficient solutions.

Nice to Have:

  • Some experience or internship in digital marketing, advertising, or a related field.
  • Understanding of basic digital marketing terminology and campaign objectives (e.g., impressions, clicks, conversions).
  • Familiarity with platforms like Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or DV360.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and data.
  • Curious about how online ads reach the right people and drive results.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Jira).
  • An interest in technology, given the client's industry.
