  • Implement and manage containerization strategies using Docker and orchestrate containerized applications with Kubernetes.
  • Perform advanced Linux/Unix administration, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain scripts (Python, Bash, Ruby) for automating various operational tasks, system health checks, and data manipulation.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate new features, optimize existing systems, and ensure operational readiness.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, providing strong troubleshooting and debugging skills to identify root causes and implement timely resolutions.
  • Enforce and integrate security best practices throughout the entire DevOps lifecycle.
  • Contribute to comprehensive documentation and foster knowledge sharing within the team to build a robust and resilient operational framework.
  • Engage with clients on technical requirements and project scope, ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business needs.

Measures of Success:

    • Integrate deeply into assigned projects, independently contributing to and delivering on modules that add significant value.
    • Proactively identify areas for process improvement, technological enhancement, or new value creation, initiating conversations about your potential future growth paths within the team.
  • Within 12 Months:
    • Take the lead on the module(s) you are working on, becoming the go-to expert and primary point of contact.
    • Initiate and manage interactions with clients, taking ownership of project scope, technical requirements, and overall delivery.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure management.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic, client-focused environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and system improvements, coupled with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Advanced expertise in Linux/Unix administration, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby for automating infrastructure tasks and deployments.
  • Hands-on experience with the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), including deployment, management, and monitoring for log aggregation and system observability.
  • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Proven experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, to manage containerized applications and microservices.
