Role Purpose & Key Stakeholders: The Inclusion & Impact Manager will serve as a key day-to-day strategic partner for the business. They will focus on local alignment and the effective delivery of our inclusion and impact strategy within all internal client groups including UK Client Leads, Open Clients, Global Client Solutions teams, enabling teams (e.g., Finance, Growth, Operations), and embedded teams (e.g., MM&D, Data, Tech & Analytics) – supporting DEI related aspects, thereby operationalising our inclusion vision to weave inclusion throughout the business. They will work closely with the People services Hub (PSH) and People Partner Managers to ensure the effective communication and delivery of the Inclusion strategy across all business areas.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Impact & Focus:
Translate high-level Inclusion & Impact objectives into actionable, localised plans, driving immediate value by proactively identifying opportunities to embed inclusion. This includes identifying opportunities for leveraging data and insights for AI optimisation in DEI and actively contributing to embedding AI-responsible working practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in our programs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Owning the day-to-day management and continuous enhancement of the Inclusion SharePoint content, ensuring it's comprehensive, user-friendly, widely communicated, and reflects current best practices and the Inclusion strategy.
- Integrate Intersectionality into Program design – Proactively embed intersectional considerations into the planning, execution, and evaluation of assigned inclusion initiatives. This includes collaborating with Employee Community Groups (ECGs) and leveraging program feedback to ensure initiatives are relevant and impactful for individuals across diverse and intersecting identities, and proposing data-driven adjustments to enhance inclusivity.
- Support for the Employee community Groups. Develop strong relationship with our ECGS, increase their visibility across the across the business and ensure they are aligned to the core pillars of WPP Media’s ECGs..
- Policy and Process Advocacy - Collaborate with the People Services Hub and People Partner Managers to proactively review and embed DEI principles into key HR policies, processes, and the entire employee lifecycle
- Developing robust reports and compelling presentations on program impact and progress against strategic targets (e.g., belonging scores, churn by ethnicity/gender, promotion rates, GPG reduction), identifying actionable insights and recommending improvements.
- Ensuring effective communication strategies for promoting Inclusion training and initiatives across WPP Media and agency platforms, leading specific communications campaigns.
- Lead the development and curation of specific modules, discussion guides, and resources for the Inclusion & Allyship Playbook, acting as a subject matter expert on assigned topics.
- Leading the coordination for specific Inclusion learning sessions (e.g., specific Lunch & Learns, targeted awareness campaigns), working with external facilitators or delivering content directly.
- Leading the end-to-end execution and project management for designated Inclusion & Impact initiatives (e.g., Inclusion Fair, Return with Balance, specific aspects of the Sponsorship Programme, Intergenerational Workforce Sessions). This includes planning, stakeholder engagement, resource allocation, and reporting.
- Leading the collection, in-depth analysis, and interpretation of engagement survey data, program feedback, and other DEI metrics.
Key Relationships:
This role demands extensive collaboration across the organisation. Key internal relationships include the People Services Hub (HR Coordinators, HR Advisors, People Partner Managers), specialists across all Centres of Value (e.g., Reward, Talent Acquisition, People Data), core corporate functions (Finance, Legal, IT), business leaders and managers across all UK Domicile client groups (e.g., UK Client Leads, Open Clients, Global Client Solutions, enabling and embedded teams), Employee Community Group (ECG) leads, and all employees, serving as a central point of contact for inclusion guidance.
Required Skills & Experience
- A passion for equity and change
- A good understanding of inclusion issues within organisations
- A high level of organisation, with some degree of project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft systems including PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs within a dynamic media organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to advise and coach managers effectively on Inclusion matters
- An ability to communicate openly, authentically, and effectively with a high number of people, of all levels.
Strong interpersonal skills, a flexible can-do work ethic and a good sense of humour and fun is essential but with the ability to remain focussed and maintain momentum to achieve objectives and desired results.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience within the media, marketing, or advertising industry is advantageous, preferably within a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated practical experience in the successful coordination, delivery, or implementation of DEI initiatives and programs within an organizational setting
