The Role

The Multi-Market Media Client Lead is a senior role at T&P, responsible for providing strategic direction for all media planning activities for the Breitling & Karo Healthcare clients. This pivotal role involves championing a forward-thinking media planning vision, establishing best practices, and leading a team to deliver data-driven, innovative, and effective cross media solutions.

By deeply embedding AI and the WPP Open platform into the planning process via our DIPAM workflow, you will ensure our strategies exceed client expectations and drive significant brand growth for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and champion the overarching media planning vision for the client portfolio, establishing clear standards, principles, and AI-driven best practices for the team.
  • Regularly look for ways to proactively improve the working relationship with the client and the model we use to deliver against their requirements.
  • Oversee and actively input into the development and execution of comprehensive, data-driven media plans across all channels, ensuring they are innovative, aligned with best practices, and optimised using AI.
  • Act as the senior point of contact and trusted media consultant for key clients, providing strategic guidance on media planning, partnerships and investment.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of media planning professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous professional development both within the T&P network and wider WPP Media network, Performance Hubs
  • Drive the adoption and best-practice utilisation of WPP Open and our DIPPAM workflow to standardise planning, track performance, and identify AI-powered optimisation opportunities.
  • Translate strategic approaches into actionable planning practices, leading brainstorming sessions and challenging the status quo to deliver exceptional ideas.
  • Ensure the seamless end-to-end management of multi-market campaigns, from brief interpretation through to execution and reporting.
  • Work closely with strategy, creative, performance digital, addressable Hub teams and data/ analysic teams to ensure all media solutions are fully integrated and informed by key, often AI-generated, audience insights.
  • Work intimately with markets to ensure media strategy and innovation is delivered across network.
  • Ensure media delivery and effectiveness is closely monitored and reported to clients, regularly demonstrating the impact of our work on their business.

  • Senior Client Partnership: Demonstrated ability to act as a senior consultant to clients, confidently influencing senior stakeholders on media strategy and investment decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing media planning teams, setting strategic direction and fostering a collaborative, innovative environment.
  • Integrated Media Expertise: Advanced understanding of all media channels (digital including social and traditional), full-funnel media capability, and a strong knowledge of marketing/media mix modelling.
  • Multi-Market Planning Leadership: Extensive experience in developing and executing effective multi-market media campaigns, partnerships with a deep understanding of the international media landscape.
  • Innovation & AI Acumen: A passion for innovation and a practical understanding of how to leverage emerging technologies, particularly AI, to drive strategic advantage and operational efficiency.
  • Strategic Communication: Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to construct a compelling narrative from data and influence stakeholders at all levels, across all markets.
  • Collaboration: A natural and proactive collaborator, adept at working seamlessly with creative, strategy, and data teams to deliver fully integrated solutions across all markets.

*Candidates with prior experience with HNWI/watch/jewellery, fashion experience with a Luxury sensibility (i.e. Agility, Luxury market/media knowledge) are highly desired.
