Responsibilities of the role: 

  • Proven experience as an eCommerce manager or similar role, preferably in an online retail environment
  • Experience of having worked with FMCG brands would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders is a must.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations. 
  • Good understanding of eCommerce platforms, technologies, and digital marketing strategies

In this role, your goals will be:  

In 3 months: 

  • Get an understanding of the client’s e-commerce business & understand stakeholder engagement.
  • Started to build relationships with the key decision makers and strategic partners.
  • Take a handover on complete client business – internalize brand playbooks, past e-commerce campaigns * efforts & any client specific framework trainings.
  • Support in development of category>brand specific Playbooks/SOPS/Calendars for the client on media commerce plans & opportunities at a platform level.
  • Develop a framework to track and share category insights & learnings basis past & current e-commerce activations and campaigns – also track competition activity & cascade to relevant stakeholders.
  • Have a broad POV on e-commerce business in India across various business models, understanding & value of “media” as a lever to drive incremental growth for the client on e-commerce.
  • Develop & share reporting formats and SLAs – streamline data requirements (internal & external).
  • Identify all relevant internal support teams and drive effective engagement. 

In six months, you would have: 

  • Work with e-commerce platform partners on campaign planning, deployment & track deliverables.
  • Work with the e-commerce team lead on all media commerce strategy & planning discussions.
  • Manage active communication & support on all client related e-commerce needs with central trading & e-commerce team.
  • Support on e-commerce focused workshops & trainings as required for internal & client teams.
  • 100% certification on all e-commerce related platform trainings & certifications for self & team E.g.: AMS (Amazon), Google, FB etc. 

In 12 months, you would have: 

  • Work with E-commerce Team Lead to ensure 100% achievement of targets delivered to client.
  • Manage a daily/weekly/monthly tracking dashboard to track category>sub-category>brand level Metrics.
  • Support in development of e-commerce media AOPs in collaboration with mainline + digital teams. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an SME for agency and client teams to help navigate the Commerce activation landscape and utilize Commerce capabilities to service solutions.
  • Work closely with agency teams to deliver best-in-class campaign execution that accomplish client’s business objectives.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements that can help teams work better together and with our clients.
  • Drive incorporation of cross-platform testing and optimization strategies.
  • Develop frameworks, case studies, trainings and other content to continuously raise the bar
  • Own relationships with select priority Commerce partners to ensure development & delivery of best-in-class biddable campaigns.
  • Stay up to date on changing marketplace dynamics surrounding ad products, technology, and measurement across search and programmatic partners.
  • Drive the adoption of Commerce for new business and existing accounts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in commerce media execution. 
  • Experience managing a team of direct reports. 
  • Experience across the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proven track record of success in executing commerce campaigns that achieve business objectives.
  • Deep understanding of retail commercial elements such as profit margin, inventory levels, forecasting, and demand planning to inform media decisions.
  • Deep understanding of how different media channels work together and how ecommerce media fits within the wider ecosystem.
  • Experience with retail bid management platforms, such as Pacvue or Skai. 
  • Experience in campaign management and optimization across multiple retail platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Big Basket, Zepto, Blinkit, Instamart, Myntra etc.).
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal teams and external partners. 
  • A self-starter attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent project-management skills; able to coordinate projects across multiple teams and functions. 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate projects across multiple teams and functions.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop insights that inform strategy and optimization.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
