Role Summary and Impact:
WPP Media is world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. We are currently looking for an Assistant Media Planner – Programmatic to join our team. In this role, you will support the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of programmatic advertising campaigns across various digital platforms. You will work closely with internal teams, technology partners, publishers, and clients to deliver data-driven media solutions that drive business outcomes.

In This Role, Your Goals Will Be:
In Three Months:
- Develop a strong understanding of programmatic advertising ecosystems and buying platforms.
- Support the team in campaign setup, trafficking, monitoring, and reporting.
- Assist in managing day-to-day campaign operations and client deliverables.
- Build knowledge of audience targeting, bidding strategies, and campaign optimization techniques.
In Six Months:
- Independently manage programmatic campaign execution under supervision.
- Contribute to campaign optimization and performance improvement initiatives.
- Explore new audience, data, and inventory opportunities across platforms.
- Assist in developing data-driven media recommendations and client presentations.
In Twelve Months:
- Become a trusted resource for programmatic planning and execution within the team.
- Lead campaign optimization discussions and provide actionable insights.
- Support new business pitches with programmatic solutions and recommendations.
- Showcase successful campaign outcomes and innovative programmatic initiatives.
What your day job looks like at WPP Media:
- Assist in the setup, trafficking, monitoring, and optimization of programmatic campaigns.
- Work with DSPs and ad-serving platforms to ensure accurate campaign delivery.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimization opportunities.
- Generate campaign reports and performance analyses.
- Support audience targeting, segmentation, and data strategy initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams, publishers, and technology partners for campaign execution.
- Stay updated on programmatic trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
- Assist in preparing client presentations, post-campaign analyses, and media recommendations.
- Ensure campaign delivery aligns with client objectives and KPIs.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong interest in Programmatic Advertising, Digital Media, and Ad Technology.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of DSPs, ad-serving platforms, and programmatic ecosystems is preferred.
- Certifications in Google Marketing Platform, DV360, Google Analytics, or other relevant digital platforms will be an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Media Sciences, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in Programmatic Media, Digital Media Planning, Digital Marketing, or Media Buying.
