Job Description: Assistant Manager – ESP operations (WPP Media Product Arm)
Reporting to: VP Client Leadership & Growth, WPP Media
Role Overview
As a Assistant Manager of ESP, a key product offering within WPP Media’s product portfolio, you will be responsible for farming and selling the ESP product range across client accounts. Your role is to drive adoption, revenue growth, and integration of ESP solutions by collaborating closely with cluster leads of the client leadership of both agencies. You will identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities, position ESP as a critical solution for client communication challenges and contribute to the overall growth of WPP’s product footprint.
As a WPP media employee, you are required to actively engage in learning and development initiatives throughout the year. This includes familiarizing yourself with WPP’s new identity, completing trainings on WPP Open tools, and participating in other relevant programs and initiatives rolled out by WPP. Key Responsibilities
- Product Farming & Sales Growth
- Proactively identify farming opportunities within existing client accounts to drive upsell and cross-sell of the ESP product range.
- Collaborate with cluster leads and client teams to understand client needs and tailor ESP solutions accordingly.
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets for the ESP product portfolio through strategic account management and solution selling.
- Product Adoption & Integration
- Work closely with client leadership and internal teams to embed ESP products into integrated communication strategies.
- Support cluster leads in developing and presenting integrated solutions that leverage the full capabilities of ESP.
- Monitor product adoption and usage metrics, identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives to enhance client engagement.
- Client & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the primary point of contact for ESP product-related queries and consultations within client accounts.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop compelling business cases and presentations for clients.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for client teams and internal stakeholders to increase product knowledge and usage.
- Market & Product Insights
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to inform product positioning and enhancements.
- Provide regular insights and reports on ESP product performance and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Identify key partnership that would further enhance ESP / WPP Media’s product portfolio and be the 1st to market.
- Support Growth & Capability Building
- Collaborate with the VP of Client Leadership & Growth to identify training needs related to ESP and coordinate relevant learning initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and sales collateral that supports ESP product promotion and client engagement.
Key Success Metrics
- Achievement of revenue growth targets for the ESP product line.
- Increased adoption and integration of ESP products within client accounts at least 3 new product adaptations per year
- Number and value of upsell and cross-sell opportunities realized – at least 5 cross selling opportunities within the year
- Positive feedback from clients and internal stakeholders on ESP product support and value.
- Contribution to training and capability-building initiatives related to ESP.
