Key Responsibilities
AI‑First Content Development
Leads end‑to‑end build of AI‑enabled learning—from brief and outline to scripts, design, build, QA and release. Creates video and interactive learning in Synthesia and Rise, using AI to speed up first drafts (scripts, storyboards, knowledge checks and micro‑learning) and applying strong instructional design and editorial judgement to refine, fact‑check and finalise.
Application of Production Framework and Standards
Works within the production framework and governance set by the Senior Manager: plans production sprints, manages the backlog, and follows required review steps. Uses approved prompt libraries, templates, and brand/UX standards, and raises risks (edge cases, sensitive topics, policy concerns) early for guidance and sign‑off.
Prompting, Tooling, and Pattern Reuse
Contributes to shared prompt libraries and reusable patterns by testing what works across common needs (explainers, scenarios, quizzes, reflection). Builds and maintains Rise modules and Synthesia projects using agreed templates so structure, navigation, interactivity and accessibility stay consistent.
Collaboration with SMEs, Regional Teams, and Creative
Partners with SMEs to turn expertise into learner‑friendly content—running working sessions, validating scripts, and iterating on prototypes. Supports regional teams to localise content without losing the core experience. Works closely with the Creative Manager to keep materials on‑brand, including supporting PowerPoint builds, creating or adapting visual assets, and helping with branding needs using tools such as Adobe (e.g., Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign) and Canva.
LMS Publishing and Governance Compliance
Publishes the content they build to the LMS, following agreed governance and upload protocols. Packages Rise modules to SCORM/xAPI standards, embeds/links Synthesia correctly, and applies required metadata (audience, taxonomy tags, versioning and review dates). Where needed, uses approved AI agents to create accessible HTML page layouts for the LMS.
Keeps assigned modules up to date by running regular audits and refresh cycles. Completes quality checks before upload (accuracy, tone, accessibility and brand alignment) and maintains clear records of prompts, reviews, sign‑offs and versions so the audit trail is easy to retrieve.
Data‑Informed Improvement
Uses analytics and feedback to improve content and recommends updates to prompts, templates and interaction patterns. Shares insights with the Senior Manager to help evolve standards and ways of working.
Experience and Skills
Solid xperience in digital learning and content design, with hands‑on capability in Synthesia and Articulate Rise and confidence using AI tools to draft, structure and iterate. Brings solid instructional design, excellent writing and editing, and a good eye for UX and visual detail. Organised and comfortable managing multiple pieces of work while collaborating closely with SMEs and creative partners. Working knowledge of LMS publishing (SCORM/xAPI), metadata tagging, and accessibility standards (WCAG) is important. Experience supporting on‑brand PowerPoint and creating/adapting visual assets using Adobe tools and Canva is a plus.
