Role Overview:

The Senior Delivery Director is a high-impact, agile role within the Global Campaign Delivery department. This role is designed to drive operational excellence, quality assurance, and seamless execution across all global markets, where required.

This individual will be a deployable global asset, stepping in to support, guide, and optimise delivery across all core disciplines: Organic (campaign operations, social media management), Paid Media/Programmatic, and Production. Operating with a high degree of flexibility, they will split their time between steering campaign excellence for our highest-value (Platinum and Gold) clients, supporting global new business efforts, and aligning/optimising ways of working across regional delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Global Deployment & Client Excellence

  • High-Value Account Stewardship: Act as the senior delivery lead and strategic troubleshooter on key Platinum and Gold client campaigns globally, ensuring flawless execution, risk mitigation, and the realisation of guaranteed deliverables across multiple models.
  • Agile Resource Deployment: Rapidly deploy across different markets, client accounts, or departments (Organic, Paid, Production, Social) based on business needs, workload surges, or delivery challenges.
  • Unrestricted, Hands-on Support: When assigned to a client, involvement is completely unrestricted. This role requires a "roll-up-your-sleeves" approach; you must be willing and able to execute hands-on delivery actions alongside the team to directly improve output, model best practices, and lift the standard of work.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct deep-dives into campaign performance and execution standards on key accounts, ensuring all work meets the agency’s benchmark for industry-leading influencer marketing.

2. Cross-Functional & Cross-Market Alignment

  • Regional Relationship Building: Build strong, collaborative relationships with the Heads of Campaign Delivery across all markets—initially focusing on the UK and US, before expanding into EMEA and APAC.
  • Operational Calibration: Analyze and evaluate how campaign delivery is handled by different market and team leads. Identify discrepancies in execution, share localized best practices, and drive a standardized "one voice" global approach.
  • Functional Integration: Ensure seamless collaboration and workflows between Organic Campaign Ops, Paid Media, Production, and Social Media Management teams on a global scale.

3. New Business & Internal Collaboration

  • Global New Business Support: Serve as a key delivery expert for global new business pitches and proposals. This is not limited to the UK and US; you will support pitches across all regions where necessary, helping to define delivery strategies, scope out complex execution plans, and present to prospective clients.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with New Business, Account Management, and Product/Solutions teams to ensure delivery excellence and operational feasibility are at the forefront of new proposals.

4. Process Optimisation & Best Practices

  • Operational Efficiency: Partner with the Head of Campaign Governance & Innovation, as well as ‘Heads of’ campaign delivery teams and Business Excellence teams to refine, implement, and police global workflows, processes, and tool utilization (including the agency platform, Ibex).
  • Platform and Tech Understanding: Be a resource in understanding the build out of Ibex, as well as any other tech and tools used across global markets. Analyse the benefits of tools used, and report back to the Global Leadership team where necessary about which tools are most effective.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Bridge the gap between markets by facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions, ensuring that a success in the US/UK is effectively operationalised in APAC/EMEA.
  • On-the-Ground Mentorship: Provide direct mentoring and upskilling to campaign leads and managers when deployed on accounts, fostering a high-performance culture of continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Experience: Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a senior delivery (organic/paid), campaign operations, or account director role within an influencer marketing, social media, or digital advertising agency.
  • Multi-Disciplinary Expertise: Deep understanding of the entire campaign lifecycle spanning Organic Influencer Marketing, Paid Media/Programmatic, Video/Content Production, and Social Media Management.
  • Executional Capability: A player-coach mentality. Whilst this is a senior director-level role, you must have the capability and willingness to execute tasks hands-on to support the team when required.
  • Global Mindset: Experience working within multi-regional structures; cultural awareness and the ability to influence and lead teams across different time zones and markets (UK, US, EMEA, APAC).
  • Problem Solving & Adaptability: Exceptionally agile, resilient, and comfortable with ambiguity. Able to step into high-pressure situations, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions quickly.
  • Relationship & Influence: Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills. Ability to influence regional heads and senior stakeholders through relationship and trust building.
  • Commercial & Analytical Acumen: Solid understanding of campaign margins, resource utilization, and delivery KPIs.
