Senior Business Development Lead - Agencies & Brands: New York City, (Remote)
We’re hiring an experienced Business Development Lead based in New York City. This person will be responsible for bringing a new CTV contextual targeting solution to agencies and brands to create awareness and develop innovative CTV partnerships that drive meaningful engagement and results.
What You’ll Do:

Build and manage relationships with agency video investment teams, focusing on major holding companies to drive awareness and demand for Wurl’s products, inventory, and services.

Secure brand-direct client meetings to expand awareness and adoption of Wurl’s offerings.
- Educate agency buyers and brand teams on CTV inventory trends, attention metrics, and evolving video investment strategies.
- Identify opportunities for new and innovative partnerships, collaborating with agencies, brands, and technology providers to enhance Wurl’s value proposition.
- Analyze agency and client KPIs, providing strategic recommendations to enhance audience targeting and campaign performance.
- Partner closely with internal sales leadership and product teams, delivering customer feedback to improve Wurl’s solutions.
What You’ll Bring:
- BA/BS from a four-year college or university
- 5-8 years of Adtech sales experience, selling media solutions to agency holding companies or working at an agency or brand direct
- Experience bringing new media or inventory solutions to market and agencies
- Challenger mindset – Comfortable questioning the status quo and experienced in helping customers push the boundaries of innovation
- Proven hustle and determination to roam the halls of agencies, educating agency video investment teams and driving engagement
- Active rolodex with the ability to leverage existing relationships with holding companies and brands to drive new and innovative partnerships
- Familiar with programmatic selling or buying, with CTV buying/selling preferred
- Excellent storyteller with competent organizational and communication acumen
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity
- Team player who enjoys cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to problem-solve, understand complex products and services, and drive innovative partnership
- Base Pay Range: $130k-$180k + Bonus
