Director of Product, Growth & Site Experience
WeightWatchers is a global digital health company.
We are the #1 doctor-recommended – and most clinically studied – behavioral weight health program in the world. For sixty years, WeightWatchers has helped millions build healthy habits and live happier, healthier lives.
As the science of weight health rapidly evolves, so does WeightWatchers. Today we are developing new clinical pathways for medication access, creating behavioral programs for chronic health conditions, integrating third-party services, and enhancing product personalization.
WeightWatchers has embraced technology, with our mobile app now the primary tool for most members. While we continue to perfect our digital product, we are also designing new in-person experiences. With these diverse member touchpoints, our potential for impact has never been greater.
Who We Are:
The Product Management team at WeightWatchers is at the forefront of transforming a trusted 60-year-old brand by revolutionizing the product experience using the latest in nutrition science, behavioral science, AI, and medical treatments. Our mission is to improve the health and longevity of our member population by building the best holistic weight health platform in the market. We already have the massive scale to drive outstanding impact for millions of members with every release, and we’re radically evolving our culture to move at startup speed. The last ingredient we’re missing is you.
What You’ll Do:
As a Director of Product, you’ll lead the vision, strategy, and execution for the first stages of our member experience: our web and in-app signup journeys. Specifically, you will:
-
Drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your team while contributing to company-level product strategy and innovation around transforming WeightWatchers into a holistic weight management platform.
-
Lead a portfolio of major cross-functional initiatives with Design, Data, and Engineering to deliver high-impact features that drive member growth and engagement.
-
Apply strong product sense, advocating for clean, intuitive UX that covers a full spectrum of care and balances member needs with business goals.
-
Use data to drive decisions—define success metrics for your team, run A/B tests, and continuously evaluate performance to ensure we are delivering measurable value to our members and the business.
-
Hire, coach, and retain the best talent, establishing a high bar for performance and coaching PMs to amplify their impact and grow their skills.
-
Influence and align stakeholders by proactively communicating plans, progress, and insights across the organization to unlock collective creativity and intelligence.
Who You Are:
-
Mission-aligned: You’re passionate about health, nutrition, behavior change, and/or medicine, and empathize deeply with our members’ journeys.
-
Results-driven: You are a force of nature. You have a proven track record of taking ownership and leveraging your team to drive measurable results with velocity.
-
Strategically minded: You’re able to look at a problem from multiple angles to find the best path forward. You can look beyond the local optima to find the best long-term path.
-
Decisive and influential: You can guide a group toward a clear outcome using objective criteria, structured conversations, and influence over control. You have strong opinions and aren’t afraid of being wrong or taking risks.
-
Analytical thinker: You’re comfortable forming hypotheses, designing experiments, and interpreting test results. You can specify clear goals and KPIs for your team with ease.
-
MVP-minded: You live and die by the Pareto principle. You know how to prioritize what matters most, and define the minimum viable product to move quickly and learn. You value pragmatism and speed over perfection.
-
Nimble and agile: You don’t blink at the prospect of pivoting quickly – and leading your team through change – to maximize impact.
-
Technical but flexible: You enjoy both operating at 10,000 ft and diving deep into the details with your teams to truly understand a given issue or opportunity.
-
Self-aware and growth-oriented: You understand your strengths and opportunities, and actively seek feedback to uncover how to improve your craft.
Skills Required:
-
8+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in consumer-facing digital products
-
3+ years of team management experience
-
Strong proficiency with product discovery techniques, including user research and A/B testing
-
Strong understanding of mobile UX and user-centered design principles
-
Comfort with product analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Amplitude) and using data to inform decisions
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor messaging for different audiences
-
Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
-
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
