The WeightWatchers Finance Team serves as a core driver of the company's business success. This team of experienced financial professionals leverages data analytics and best practices to deliver insightful financial reporting and analysis. These contributions empower strategic decision-making across the organization, ensuring the company's financial health and sustainability.
What You Will Do
As a Senior Accountant on the North America Accounting team, you’ll be responsible for a range of accounting and financial reporting activities that support our core business operations. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, you’ll post journal entries, prepare reconciliations and variance analyses, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness across close cycles. This role requires strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights for business partners.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support quarterly balance sheet reviews
- Analyze financial results and explain variances against forecasts and prior periods
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end and quarter-end close processes
- Maintain and improve internal controls and documentation
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Extract and analyze large data sets from ERP and reporting systems
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support reporting needs and drive process improvements
- Assist with special projects and other ad hoc accounting and reporting tasks
Who You Are
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting processes
- Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and advanced Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
Base salary may vary depending on, but not limited to: skills, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonus program.
US Pay Range
$85,000 - $90,000 USD
