Major Account Executive - Western Canada
Wyse Meter Solutions Inc. provides turnkey submetering and utility expense management services to property managers, building owners and developers across Canada. Wyse is unique in its ability to provide energy consumption transparency and accountability to its customers.
Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, the Major Account Executive for British Columbia will be responsible for independently managing the sales of submetering services to developers, property owners, property management companies and condo corporations in the multi-residential and commercial markets. This role requires
a self-motivated individual who can successfully drive sales efforts and contribute to expanding the company’s presence in British Columbia (BC).
Key Responsibilities
- Solicit customers for our submetering services and in all proposals present the complete Wyse pricing matrix as amended from time to time by Wyse.
- Pursue opportunities from the introduction phase through to the close, including proposal presentation, contract negotiation and customer contract execution.
- On a regular daily and weekly basis, update the Wyse CRM tool on the activities, tasks, closes and losses related to each lead, account, contact and opportunity.
- After closing an opportunity, update the Wyse CRM tool to provide necessary details for the meter installation and billing process for the building and residents in BC.
- Update Wyse's representatives weekly on industry trends, competitive trends, marketing material effectiveness, and other information pertinent to Wyse's sales efforts in the BC market.
- Attend and participate in BC-based industry events, trade shows, conferences, and seminars as assigned.
- Contribute to sales administration through submetering site pre-audits, feasibility studies, special requests, attending sales resident seminars, providing technical and installation information and support within the BC territory.
- Coordinate BC-based trade-show operations, ensuring Wyse Meter Solutions Inc. products and services are
- displayed to enhance the organization's reputation.
- Demonstrate commitment to excellence and lifelong learning in business operations.
- All Employees are expected to understand and work within the policies and procedures determined by Wyse Meter Solutions Inc. and/or legislation relative to the function(s) being performed.
- Maintain a valid driver's license.
- Handle client requests and other duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned related to the role of Major Account Executive.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Proven sales executive experience, meeting, or exceeding targets.
- Business Administration Certificate or similar.
- Strong ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to the needs of the BC market.
