Billing Analyst
Wyse Meter Solutions Inc. provides turnkey submetering and utility expense management services to property managers, building owners and developers across Canada. Wyse is unique in its ability to provide energy consumption transparency and accountability to its customers.
The Billing Analyst will be responsible for coordinating and executing accurate and timely billing of all our customers. This position is directly responsible for performing all related duties involved in billing including account setup, rate calculation, bill review, adherence to regulatory requirements, and overall optimization of business processes. This position requires a combination of administrative tasks and analytical skills to handle various aspects of billing.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and ensure successful onboarding of new properties to billing system to ensure prompt and accurate billing of residents and clients.
- Ensure accurate and timely setup of customer accounts with the correct rates and billing information.
- Calculate rates based on established parameters and regulatory guidelines.
- Work with internal departments & external clients including Tenants, Property Owners/Managers, Utility Companies and Third-Party Vendors while establishing and maintaining relationships.
- Prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Proactively identify areas for continuous improvement in billing processes.
- Investigate and resolve billing related disputes and inquiries such as OEB Inquiries, Tenant and Client escalations.
- Generate reports and insights to assist in decision-making and optimizing billing procedures.
- Responsible for day-to-day billing related functions such as scheduled billing, Final bill reconciliation, OESP Program Reconciliations, rates review and audits.
- Perform initial data analysis as required to help resolve and or identify billing related issues.
- Resolving any errors or discrepancies with customer billing, accounts, or billing reports.
- Performing other duties as assigned and required.
Required Education & Qualifications
- University Degree or Business Administration Certificate or similar.
- Experience in Utility Billing and Data Analysis.
- Knowledge in Harris NorthStar would be an asset although not required.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Access & PowerPoint).
