Sr. Network Operations Centre Data Analyst (1-Year Contract)

The Sr. Network Operations Centre Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting Wyse's operational performance through advanced analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights. This role focuses on monitoring network health, technician performance, work order efficiency, and meter reliability. The successful candidate will support operational decision-making by providing actionable intelligence, identifying process bottlenecks, and enhancing visibility into Network Operations Centre (NOC) activities.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics & Performance Insights

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs related to technician performance, work order turnaround, meter health, and network uptime.
  • Analyze trends in field and remote service operations to identify bottlenecks and recommend operational improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on recurring service failures or delays and support the NOC team in developing mitigation strategies.

Operational Reporting

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports to support performance reviews, internal initiatives, and regulatory reporting.
  • Track and report key NOC metrics including call volumes, issue resolution times, service level compliance, and dispatch efficiency.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly performance summaries for internal stakeholders.

System and Data Management

  • Leverage tools such as SQL, Excel, and Power BI to extract, cleanse, and visualize large datasets from NOC systems.
  • Support the integration of new analytics tools or software platforms used by the Network Operations Centre.
  • Maintain data integrity across multiple operational systems (e.g., work order management, ticketing, MDM platforms).

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with dispatch, customer support, IT, and field operations teams to understand operational challenges and drive data-backed solutions.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to present findings and align analytics initiatives with business goals.
  • Train NOC team members on using dashboards and interpreting KPIs where appropriate.

Implementation of Operational Programs

  • This role includes coordinating and managing specific operational programs within the NOC.
  • Responsibilities include scheduling technicians to complete tasks related to network recovery initiatives, meter replacements, or other field-based corrective actions.
  • The analyst will help ensure program milestones are met by managing timelines, tracking technician availability, and working closely with field operations.

Required Education and Qualifications

  • 2+ years work experience in an operational setting: field services, utilities, telecommunications, logistics, manufacturing, etc. Experience with Field dispatch a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support performance improvement initiatives. Expert knowledge of Excel. Solid SQL.
  • Post-secondary education in engineering (ideally Electrical), mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent operational experience.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
