About the Job
As a Research Associate, Immunology, you will be involved in translational and immunology research efforts to identify and characterize novel therapeutic targets and investigate mechanisms of action of therapeutics. This is an hands-on, lab-based, position responsible for leading, designing and executing in vitro and ex vivo experiments.

You are a self-driven, dedicated, and creative immunologist who is passionate about drug discovery and developing new drugs to address unmet medical needs. You have solid hands-on experience in cell-based assays and immunophenotyping. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where the norm is pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute and analyze experiments aimed to validate therapeutic targets and to explore the underlying biological mechanisms of novel therapeutics
- Collaborate with other team functions to develop novel therapeutics
Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Biological Sciences or related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Extensive hands-on experience in cellular and molecular immunology techniques including primary cell isolation from tissues, in vitro immunological assays, multi-dimensional flow cytometry and in vivo animal models
- Hands-on expertise with mammalian cell lines, as well as with handling primary human or mouse cells
- Ability to design, run, and analyze multi-color flow cytometry (10+ colors) panels
- Experience with molecular biology techniques (like qPCR, WB, ELISA, MSD)
- Experience developing and optimizing cell-based immunological assays
- Excellent organization and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and to simultaneously manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Independently designing, executing and analyzing experiments
- Team player with a collaborative spirit
- Strong learning mindset
- Passion for innovation and desire to participate in innovative scientific research
Compensation
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, seeking to provide an open, flexible, and friendly work environment to empower employees and provide them with a platform to develop their long-term careers. A Summary of Benefits is available for all applicants. The base pay range for this position is expected to be $60,000 - $111,000 annually; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the market, job-related knowledge, skills and capabilities, and experience.
