Scientist/Senior Scientist, Computational Protein Design
About the Role
As a Scientist/Senior Scientist, Computational Protein Design you will have prior experience with protein design and engineering, with a deep understanding of biochemical and computational considerations for protein design while having expertise in a high-level programming language such as Python and modern HPC and cloud compute workflows.

Minimum Qualifications
- Hands-on experience (3+ years) in protein design and engineering, with a deep understanding of biochemical and computational considerations for protein design
- Expertise with a high-level programming language such as Python and modern HPC and cloud compute workflows
- Hands-on experience with RosettaFold, RFdiffusion, AlphaFold, or ESMFold
- Deep structural knowledge of proteins
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong curiosity of areas of biology previously unknown to you
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet project timelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with researchers from diverse fields, including computational and experimental biologists, and provide scientific guidance, support as needed
- PhD in bioengineering, biophysics, biochemistry, computational biology, chemical engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of post-doctoral or equivalent industry experience in Protein Design or related field
- Strong publication record in protein design and engineering for therapeutic protein applications
- Experience using LIMS and Benchling systems. Substantial experience with DNA synthesis and protein production CROs and lab vendors
