Health and Safety Advisor

Are you passionate about creating safe and inspiring environments? We're looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our award-winning in-house team at Inizio Engage XD. This is a unique opportunity to help ensure safety across exciting projects in Event Production, Environments and Film Production.

You'll be a trusted partner in promoting a health and safety culture. You'll not only support but also enhance our safety processes, ensuring they are integrated into daily operations.

You will help us stay compliant with all relevant regulations, while your collaborative approach will see you working with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to uphold and exceed our safety standards.

This role includes national and international travel

You will report into the Head of Safety.

What will you do …

  • Provision of health and safety advice for the daily operations within Inizio Engage XD
  • Work with project teams to assess project risks and provide advice, with a focus on Event Production, Environments and Film Production
  • National and international travel, assisting with the onsite delivery of projects (generally up to 2 weeks maximum per project)
  • Help develop internal guidance and information for employees and suppliers
  • Work with Inizio Engage XD suppliers to build upon existing relationships and provide support in meeting the business and client's health and safety expectations
  • Perform project safety audits to highlight the businesses safety performance and highlight areas for improvement
  • Help deliver internal company wide training programmes
  • Support the development and distribution of internal communications
  • Work with third-party health and safety suppliers / consultants to provide safety management approach across all projects
  • Support the Office Team with maintaining health and safety compliance across our facilities
  • Manage the incident management system and advise the company to any insights following an incident or accident
  • Reflect the agency's values
  • Promote our services internally and externally

What you'll need to have …

  • Qualified to at least NEBOSH National General Certificate
  • Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH)
  • Preferable experience working in the live events, exhibitions or entertainment sector
  • Experience working collaboratively within multi-discipline teams
  • A valid passport to allow international travel
  • An interest in the health and safety
