Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – Investment Domain
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Investments / Asset & Wealth Management to support complex, business‑critical initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to drive clarity, transformation, and value delivery across investment platforms and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive end‑to‑end requirement lifecycle management, ensuring traceability and alignment with business objectives.
- Support initiatives across the investment value chain, including front office, middle office, and/or back office functions.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder discussions to define current‑state and future‑state processes.
- Perform process mapping, gap analysis, and impact analysis for regulatory, operational, and technology changes.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and Delivery teams to ensure high‑quality implementation.
- Support UAT planning and execution, including test scenario creation, defect triage, and business sign‑off.
- Contribute to governance, risk, and compliance discussions where applicable (e.g., regulatory change, controls).
- Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in business analysis and documentation.
Required Experience & Skills
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with significant exposure to the Investment domain.
- Strong understanding of investment concepts such as:
- Asset & Portfolio Management
- Equities, Fixed Income, Funds, Derivatives (conceptual understanding)
- Trade lifecycle, corporate actions, pricing, valuations, NAV
- Performance, risk, and reporting
- Experience working on large‑scale digital transformation or platform modernization initiatives.
- Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum environments; experience with SAFe is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and operate in complex, multi‑vendor environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
Tools & Methodologies (Preferred)
- Requirement management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
- Process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN)
- Agile delivery practices, User Story mapping, Backlog grooming
- Exposure to data‑driven solutions, reporting, or analytics is a plus
