Senior Azure Platform Engineer

You will be:
- designing, implementing, and operating secure and scalable Azure platform capabilities,
- building and managing infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code,
- leading Azure networking, including connectivity, routing, segmentation, and hybrid infrastructure,
- implementing security policies, governance, and platform guardrails,
- applying the Azure Well-Architected Framework to drive platform design and continuous improvement,
- designing and maintaining CI/CD and GitOps processes for infrastructure,
- developing automation and observability solutions using Azure-native tools and scripting,
- building developer-facing platform capabilities, reusable templates, and self-service solutions,
- applying Generative AI to infrastructure development, diagnostics, automation, and operational troubleshooting,
- collaborating with technical teams, mentoring engineers, and supporting the adoption of platform engineering practices.
Your profile:
- 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud networking, and platform engineering, with demonstrable Azure delivery at scale,
- experience applying the Azure Well-Architected Framework across Security, Reliability, Cost Optimization, Operational Excellence, and Performance Efficiency,
- deep hands-on experience with Terraform, including module design and state management; knowledge of ARM/Bicep is a plus,
- strong hands-on experience with Azure networking and security, including connectivity, segmentation, hybrid infrastructure, identity, governance, and security controls,
- experience designing and managing infrastructure CI/CD and GitOps processes, with strong scripting and automation skills in Python or PowerShell,
- deep experience with Azure observability, including monitoring, logging, application insights, and alerting,
- experience building developer-facing platforms, templates, onboarding flows, or similar developer experience improvements,
- practical experience applying Generative AI tools to development, diagnostics, automation, or infrastructure tasks,
- strong ownership and customer-oriented mindset, with excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to influence across teams,
- ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, solve complex problems, proactively share knowledge, and mentor others,
- experience working in Agile teams, including shaping epics and stories in Jira, and comfortable working across Windows and Linux environments,
- good command of English (min. B2).

Nice to have:
- experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work,
- iInterest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
