Technical Lead (React Native / .NET)

Location: First 3 months onsite in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (USA).


About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead who will bridge solution architecture with dayto-day engineering execution. This role combines technical leadership with active software development, ensuring high-quality code delivery while mentoring the development team and driving engineering best practices.

The ideal candidate has strong experience building mobile applications with React Native and backend services using .NET and GraphQL, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and excels at collaborating with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain code quality in GitLab.
  • Develop complex modules across React Native, including UI components and Native Bridges, as well as GraphQL/.NET resolvers.
  • Guide developers in adopting Amazon Kiro for inline coding assistance, unit test generation, and code documentation.
  • Partner closely with the Business Analyst and Solution Architect to break business features into granular technical tasks in Jira.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical bottlenecks, native bridge issues, and API performance bottlenecks.
  • Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.
  • Participate in architecture discussions while ensuring scalable and maintainable implementation.
  • Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Core Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in full-stack or mobile software engineering.
  • Strong expertise with React Native and TypeScript.
  • Strong experience developing backend services using C# and .NET.
  • Experience with GraphQL frameworks such as Hot Chocolate or GraphQL.NET.
  • Experience with GitLab and Git-based development workflows.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, mobile architecture, and system integrations.
  • Experience working within Agile development teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.


Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

  • Active U.S. B1/B2 visa valid for at least one additional year. Visa sponsorship is not available. Candidates must already possess a valid B1/B2 visa.
  • Availability to work onsite in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for the first three (3) months onboarding, knowledge transfer, and close collaboration with the client team. All travel and accommodation expenses during this onsite period will be covered by Xebia.
