About the Role 

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated testing solutions for mobile applications and GraphQL APIs. This role is responsible for developing scalable automation frameworks, integrating automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high-quality releases across mobile platforms. 

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in mobile automation, API testing, and continuous integration, with a passion for improving software quality through automation and modern testing practices. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Automation Framework Development: Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end (E2E) mobile automation suites and API test frameworks for GraphQL endpoints.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate test suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated execution on commit, merge requests, and release builds.
• GraphQL & API Testing: Validate GraphQL queries, mutations, subscriptions, schema compliance, and .NET backend response payloads.
• Quality Assurance & Strategy: Define test plans, write comprehensive test cases, manage test data, and investigate flaky tests to ensure maximum pipeline reliability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with React Native mobile engineers, .NET backend engineers, and DevOps to embed quality standards early in the SDLC.
• Tools : Xray, Atlassian Rovo, Browserstack 

Core Requirements 

• Experience: 5+ years of software test automation experience focusing on mobile and API automation.
• Mobile Tooling: Hands-on experience testing React Native apps using frameworks like Detox, Appium, Maestro, or Jest / React Native Testing Library.
• API Testing: Strong understanding of GraphQL (queries, mutations, schema validation) and RESTful services.
• CI/CD & Version Control: Proficiency with GitLab (GitLab CI/CD runner execution, merge request pipelines, multi-stage testing).
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or C#.
