Jira Administrator
JIRA Admin Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and optimize the Atlassian ecosystem including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
- Design and configure Jira workflows, schemes, and integrations.
- Create and manage Jira projects, dashboards, filters, and queries.
- Collaborate with engineering and program management partners.
- Evaluate, install, and manage Atlassian Marketplace apps.
- Own user management, permissions, and governance.
- Lead system upgrades, migrations, and consolidation projects.
- Document systems, configurations, and operational processes.
- Setup automations to help team’s do their work more efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience administering Jira and the broader Atlassian stack.
- Understanding of Jira APIs, automation, and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies.
- Troubleshooting experience with system performance, workflows, and plugins.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience configuring Jira automations with, but not limited to, Github, GCP, CI/CD.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience building advanced dashboards and reports.
- Knowledge of cloud and web technologies.
- Curious, collaborative, and detail-oriented mindset.
