Senior Account Executive, Strategic Partnerships

The Senior Account Executive, Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing strategic partnerships to expand revenue channels and enhance brand presence. This role involves collaborating closely with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to drive mutually beneficial partner initiatives, foster strong relationships, and achieve sales objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Establish go-to-market strategy for strategic partnerships: Build a pipeline of strategic opportunities, develop sales pitch and deal structure
- Drive new business growth: Identify and pursue strategic sales opportunities with new logos, leveraging your understanding of the landscape to propose innovative solutions
- Lead complex sales cycles: Manage negotiations, navigate approvals, and close deals to achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets
- Become a trusted advisor: Serve as a single point of contact for accounts, fostering long-term partnerships and exceeding client expectations
- Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with marketing, customer success, and other departments to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and provide ongoing strategic support
- Performance monitoring and reporting: Track key metrics, identify trends, and provide insights to optimize sales strategies and drive continuous growth
- Become a thought leader: Stay abreast of industry trends, develop thought leadership content, and contribute to shaping the future of Thomas's Strategic Partnership Sales strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 8+ years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of success in managing the full sales cycle for partner accounts
- 3+ years of experience in establishing and scaling partnership programs that drive revenue growth
- Possess a deep understanding of digital marketing - including search engine marketing and website optimization
- Consultative selling experience with the ability to build strong relationships and navigate complex sales cycles
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to tailor presentations to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to sales strategy development.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Driven to shape the future of manufacturing through strategic sales initiatives
- Experience working directly with enterprises in the industrial manufacturing space is strongly preferred
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
