Contract Project Manager - Ad Server Implementation
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to oversee and manage the implementation of a new ad server technology platform. The candidate for this role will organize inputs from cross-functional teams to achieve a successful transition and launch. In this role, you will partner with senior leadership, engineering, product, and business teams to ensure the successful delivery of a new ad server platform and programs for Thomasnet, a Xometry company. You will bring structure to chaos, foster collaboration, and ensure the project and its programs are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a strong business acumen, and deep expertise in managing sophisticated ad server implementation projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end management of ad server implementation and cross-functional business transition programs that align with the company’s strategic priorities.
- Drive program planning, from concept through to execution and post-launch analysis.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Operations, Sales, and Finance teams to set realistic project goals, timelines, and milestones.
- Implement robust project management processes and frameworks that enhance execution speed, transparency, and accountability.
- Lead risk management and mitigation strategies to proactively identify and address roadblocks or delays.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize initiatives, ensure alignment across teams, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable communication on project progress, risks, and outcomes to executive teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in project execution and process management, leveraging data to inform decision-making.
- Foster a high-performance culture across teams, ensuring alignment to company goals and maintaining high morale in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in program or project management, with a proven track record of managing large, complex projects in a technology-driven company.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and applying lean methodologies to drive efficiency and quality.
- Experience in launching ad server implementations.
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of how technology solutions drive business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior and executive leaders.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, make quick decisions, and drive high-impact results in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a US Citizen or GC holder
- PMP certification is a plus.
