You will spearhead initiatives to create a single source of truth between design and engineering, utilizing tools like Figma's Dev Mode, variables, and token-based theming to keep design specs and production code perfectly in sync.
  • AI & Automation: Champion and implement AI-powered workflows and tools, such as Figma Make, to automate tasks, accelerate prototyping, and unlock new creative possibilities for the design team.
  • Data-Informed Design: Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering to translate user needs, quantitative insights from tools like Fullstory and Maze, and platform strategy into high-impact design solutions.
  • Connecting Design to Outcomes: Connect design to outcomes by establishing frameworks to measure impact. Leverage qualitative and quantitative data from platforms like Maze and Fullstory to define opportunities, validate hypotheses, and continuously refine the experience.
  • Integrated Workflows: Oversee the integration of our design and research toolchain (e.g., Figma, Maze, Fullstory) with product and engineering platforms to create seamless, efficient workflows.

Qualifications

  • A Visionary Leader: You have exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to articulate a design vision from the team level to executive leadership. You have 10+ years of experience in product design, with 3+ years leading and scaling design teams.
  • A Systems Thinker: You possess a strong systems-thinking mindset with deep expertise in developing, scaling, and governing modern design systems built on a foundation of design tokens.
  • Technologically Fluent: You have deep fluency with the modern design stack, including advanced Figma features like variables, Dev Mode, and plugins (e.g., ThemeBuddy). You have a proven ability to connect design tooling to engineering frameworks (e.g., Ant Design) to create a true single source of truth.
  • Data-Driven Strategist: You have a proven track record of operating in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, using tools like Fullstory and Maze to turn behavioral analytics and user feedback into actionable design strategy.
  • An Expert Collaborator: You have extensive experience partnering with Product Managers and engineering leaders to deliver impactful results in a SaaS or marketplace environment.
  • A Proven Mentor: You have substantial experience leading and scaling UX teams, including collaborating with user researchers and UX writers to foster growth and career development.

An Impressive Portfolio: You have a portfolio that showcases strategic decision-making, leadership in complex projects, and a user-centered approach to designing for web and mobile at scale.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
