We are seeking a high-energy, remote Account Executive to spearhead sales growth and market expansion across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

In this role, you will own the end-to-end sales cycle and serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers navigate complex precision manufacturing requirements and delivering commercially robust solutions that drive long-term value.

How You’ll Contribute:

  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Manage the complete sales process, from lead qualification and technical discovery to negotiation and closing
    • Identify, target, and develop long-term partnerships with key accounts across ANZ, focusing specifically on the METS, Energy, and Medtech/Biomedical sectors
    • Maintain a healthy sales funnel by combining proactive outbound prospecting with inbound lead handling to consistently exceed revenue targets
  • Technical Advisory & Collaboration:
    • Provide expert guidance on precision manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, 3D printing, injection molding) to help customers select the most efficient production methods
    • Work closely with Sales Engineers to ensure all quotes are technically accurate, competitively priced, and aligned with client specifications
    • Build deep relationships with Engineering, Procurement, Program Management, and C-suite executives
  • Market Intelligence & Representation:
    • Deliver compelling technical and commercial presentations at site visits and trade shows, while tracking industry trends to refine Xometry’s market positioning
    • Travel domestically as required to support key accounts and secure new business opportunities

What You’ll Bring to Xometry:

  • Experience: 5+ years of corporate sales experience, including at least 2 years selling technical products, engineering services, or precision manufacturing solutions
  • Regional Expertise: Proven track record of developing and closing business within the Australian and New Zealand markets
  • Communication & Tech: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, backed by high proficiency in CRM tools
  • Industry Background: Hands-on or deep commercial experience in precision manufacturing is a significant advantage
  • Sector Focus: Established networks and sales experience within the METS, Energy, or Medtech/Biomedical sectors are highly preferred
  • Education: A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Location: Remote, Australia-based
  • Reporting To: Sales Director, APAC
