Copywriter, Performance Marketing

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) powers the industries of today and tomorrow by connecting the people with big ideas to the manufacturers who can bring them to life. Xometry’s digital marketplace gives manufacturers the critical resources they need to grow their business while also making it easy for buyers at Fortune 1000 companies to tap into global manufacturing capacity.

Xometry is seeking a Performance Marketing Copywriter to own the copy that carries a prospect from click to conversion — marketing and lifecycle emails, video/explainer scripts, and the landing pages that sit at the end of the funnel, across both the Xometry and Thomas brands. Reporting to the Content Director, you'll work closely with Lifecycle Marketing, Growth Marketing, Product, designers, and video producers to turn campaign strategy into copy that guides engineers, procurement professionals, and manufacturing leaders toward a decision.

How You’ll Contribute:

  • Write marketing and lifecycle emails — welcome series, nurture/engagement workflows, and promotional campaigns — for both the Xometry and Thomas brands
  • Write video scripts for YouTube, paid social, and product explainer videos, translating technical capabilities into clear, credible narratives
  • Write landing page copy that converts, from hero messaging and value props through to CTAs, aligned with the traffic source and offer
  • Partner with Lifecycle Marketing to plan and sequence email journeys, and with designers/video producers to align copy with visuals and pacing
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Content, and Growth Marketing to keep messaging aligned with campaign goals and brand voice
  • Use performance data (open rate, CTR, CVR, watch-through rate) and testing insights to refine copy for higher engagement and conversion
  • Contribute to campaign brainstorms and messaging strategy with a creative, test-and-learn mindset
  • Maintain and evolve messaging frameworks, email templates, and landing page copy blocks for reuse across campaigns
  • Build and use Claude Skills to speed up copy production, QA, and A/B test variant generation
  • Maintain a deep understanding of target audiences across both the Xometry and Thomas platforms

What You'll Bring to Xometry:

  • 4+ years of experience writing for performance marketing, lifecycle/email marketing, or growth-focused content roles
  • Proven track record of writing high-converting email, video script, and/or landing page copy
  • Strong understanding of email marketing mechanics — segmentation, sequencing, deliverability basics — and of landing page structure and conversion principles
  • Familiarity with performance KPIs (open rate, CTR, CVR, ROAS) and how copy drives them
  • Comfort and proficiency with HubSpot or a similar CRM/ESP platform, A/B testing, and AI tools
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills for managing multiple campaigns and drafts at once
  • Excellent English grammar, editing, and messaging skills in a B2B context
  • Adept at building Claude Skills (or comparable custom AI workflows/agents) to scale copy production — not just prompting, but structuring reusable skills

Preferred

  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors
  • Familiarity with Xometry's buyer personas or similar ICP-driven marketing
  • Experience briefing or storyboarding video scripts alongside a production or design team
  • Track record shipping multiple Claude Skills or AI workflows into an active production/creative pipeline

Key Competencies

  • Strong copywriting craft across long-form and short-form formats
  • Ability to simplify complex engineering concepts into a clear customer narrative
  • Data-driven mindset balanced with creative instinct
  • Fast iteration and testing mentality
  • Collaborative, cross-disciplinary approach
  • Ownership from creative brief to published send/page/video
  • Fluent building with Claude Skills — designs and ships reusable skills, not just prompts

Scope & Decision-Making

  • Owns copy execution for assigned email flows, video scripts, and landing pages across the Xometry and Thomas brands
  • Makes day-to-day copy and messaging decisions within brand guidelines
  • Collaborates on campaign and lifecycle strategy with Growth Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, and Creative leadership
  • Escalates risks related to brand voice, compliance, or performance

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
