About the Team
This is Xpanner’s first dedicated Corporate IT role, which means you’ll have a rare opportunity to build the foundation for how IT supports our growing 100-person U.S. organization. While our existing technical teams focus on product engineering and software, you’ll own the internal systems, tools, devices, and support experience that help every employee do their best work. You’ll work across departments, solve practical day-to-day problems, and shape the processes that keep Xpanner running smoothly as we scale.
What You’ll Do
How you’ll make impact:
As our Corporate IT Specialist, you'll be the go-to person for the systems, access, and equipment that keep Xpanner running day to day — owning IT support end to end so employees can stay focused on their work, not their tools.
Core Responsibilities:
- System Administration: Manage and maintain core IT systems, servers, and infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance across the organization.
- Identity & Credentialing: Own the employee credentialing lifecycle — provisioning, updating, and deprovisioning accounts and access rights as people join, move within, and leave the company.
- Equipment Lifecycle: Set up, configure, and deploy laptops and hardware for new hires; manage the equipment inventory, repairs, and retirement process for departing employees.
- Help Desk & Support: Serve as the first line of IT support for employees, triaging and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues with a fast, friendly turnaround.
- Security & Compliance: Support endpoint security, data protection, and access-control practices, and help maintain documentation for IT policies and audits.
- Process & Documentation: Build and refine onboarding/offboarding checklists, IT runbooks, and self-serve resources as the team and company scale.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-4+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or corporate IT.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking, with a customer-service mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.
- Founder’s mentality: Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable building processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and take initiative
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting a fast-growing startup or a distributed/hybrid workforce.
- Familiarity with MDM tools (e.g., Jamf, Intune) and endpoint security practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network+, Okta Certified Administrator).
Hourly Range
$45 - $60 USD
