JOB DESCRIPTION

ExodusPoint is seeking Quantitative Research interns with expertise in quantitative finance, Python, and machine learning. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AI-driven research pipelines that support investment decisions. The ideal candidate is excited about learning new data sources, building scalable ML systems, and supporting senior researchers in the team for ad-hoc requests

 

Responsibilities:

• Quantitative Analysis: Collaborate with researchers to design and implement quantitative strategies, leveraging advanced mathematics and statistical analysis.
• Alternative Data Integration: Processing novel datasets and translating raw data into actionable insights.
• Data Analysis: investigate data abnormalities when requested to find the root causes and propose concrete plans for fixes. Conduct ad-hoc fixes for possible issues when necessary

 

Qualifications:

• Educational Backgrounds: Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Strong background in machine learning, including deep learning and/or NLP.
  • Experience in statistical modeling, time-series analysis, or algorithmic trading.
• Preferred Experience:
  • Experience integrating alternative data in finance or trading contexts.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities effectively.

The salary range for this position is $20-$25 per hour.
