JOB DESCRIPTION

The AI team is dedicated to developing a robust AI and analytical platform to service a diverse set of investment teams and internal clients. Comprising software engineers and quantitative researchers, the team is committed to delivering top-tier AI solutions for the firm.

We are seeking a software developer intern to join our AI team. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic technologist and a self-driven learner, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and upgrade our AI-driven applications that address critical business needs, significantly enhancing and informing strategic investment decisions.
• Support our large-scale, end-to-end data processing frameworks and quantitative analytics pipelines capable of handling petabyte-scale datasets.
• Collaborate closely with team members to promptly troubleshooting and resolving production issues, ensuring seamless operational continuity and robust support.

Qualifications: 

• A university student in Computing, Engineering, Science, or a related field.

 

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, experience in relational database.
• Familiar with analytical/statistics libraries (e.g. Pandas, NumPy).
• Experienced in prompt engineering.

Preferred Experience:

• Experienced in Cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure), CICD, Docker, Git.
• Knowledge of machine learning framework (e.g. TensorFlow, Pytorch)
• Experience in Web and Rest API development.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities effectively.

 

The salary range for this position is $20-$25 per hour.
