JOB DESCRIPTION

ExodusPoint is seeking a highly motivated Junior Operations Analyst to join the London Operations team. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for a final-year university student or recent graduate looking to begin a career in hedge fund operations.

 

The role offers broad exposure across asset classes and direct interaction with Portfolio Managers, traders, prime brokers, fund administrators, and internal technology teams. The successful candidate will develop a strong foundation in trade lifecycle management, reconciliations, risk controls, and operational infrastructure within a fast-paced multi-strategy environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Support accurate processing of trade activity from trade date through settlement across multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, etc.)
• Monitor trade capture, affirmation, confirmation, and settlement workflows
• Perform daily position and cash reconciliations with custodians, prime brokers and administrators and communicate accordingly any discrepancies
• Investigate and resolve breaks in a timely and controlled manner
• Liaise daily with Portfolio Managers and traders to resolve trade-related queries
• Communicate with trading counterparties and resolve issues in a timely manner

 

Qualifications:

• Final-year undergraduate or recent graduate (within 12 months of graduation)
• Internship experience in financial services (buy-side or sell-side)
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related analytical discipline
• Strong academic record (minimum 2:1 or equivalent)
• Strong numerical and analytical capability
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
