Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our infrastructure team. In this position, you will leverage your AI expertise to boost the productivity of all employees. Your main responsibility will be to identify, research, and implement cutting-edge AI methods to enhance efficiency and automate workflows.
Location: Santa Clara Area and Greater Seattle Area
Job Responsibilities:

Investigate and implement cutting-edge AI methodologies to enhance developers' productivity, such as using AI to refactor code, write unit tests, or conduct high-quality code reviews.

Research and prototype Agentic workflows or similar frameworks to coordinate multiple AI agents in addressing complex problems.

Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration and innovation.

Offer insights and recommendations to existing AI agents and applications.

Shape the long-term vision for AI applications and technological advancements.

Mentor other engineers to adopt and effectively use AI technology.
Required Qualifications:

Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field

5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering roles

Entensive experience in training and fine-tuning large language models for generative AI applications

Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face)

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for AI model deployment

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical concepts and processes.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $244,140-$413,160, in addition to bonus, equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
