THE TEAM
The software development function is responsible for creating and maintaining the technology infrastructure that assists the firm's trading operations. Developers engage with stakeholders to solve problems using their technical knowledge. The development team is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing systems across the full trading life-cycle.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop high-quality software solutions for proprietary trading activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
WHO YOU ARE
- University degree in STEM or relevant field
- A self-motivated individual who excels in fast-paced environments
- Quick to learn with strong problem-solving abilities
- Effective communicator with good organizational skills
- Professional Experience in C++
- Linux development
YOUR SKILLS (DESIRABLE)
- Go/Python/Bash
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience with message queues
- Experience with SQL
- GraphQL and REST APIs
- DevOps - Docker, CI/CD
- Experience with C++17 and/or C++20
- Previous work experience in a quantitative trading firm
- FIX for execution connectivity experience
- Experience with AI tooling for code generation
