Position Details

  • Salary Range: £60000 - £85000 plus commission; OTE Up to £145K
  • Full-Time, Regular employment
  • Hybrid - 2-3 days/week in the office
  • Reports to: International Sales Manager
  • Location:  London, UK 

 

Position Summary

The Account Executive, located in our London, UK office, is responsible for identifing, engaging, and closing new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships. You’ll represent our advanced SaaS forecasting solutions to energy retailers, traders, and utilities throughout Europe.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed individual and regional revenue goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with energy market participants across EMEA.
  • Build long-term partnerships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers in the power and gas sectors.
  • Understand customer challenges and consultatively position Yes Energy’s solutions to meet their goals.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process including presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure customer success.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline tracking through Salesforce CRM.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Fluent in English is required. 
  • Five years of direct, customer-facing experience in a B2B environment
  • Five years of overall sales-focused experience
  • Proven ability to develop and close a robust pipeline of qualified deals across Europe
  • Strong familiarity with Salesforce and data-driven sales forecasting
  • Ability to accurately forecast sales and revenue

  • Able to collaborate across global sales and support teams (US, NZ, Japan, UK)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional languages are a plus.
  • Two years of experience working in SaaS for the Energy Markets, Financial, or Commodities sector is preferred.  
  • Understanding of deregulated energy markets in EMEA is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience using MEDDPICC is a plus.
