Position Summary
As an Account Executive, Publishing Sales, New Logo Acquisition, you will focus on New Logo Acquisition. You will be instrumental in expanding RTO Insider's reach by identifying, engaging, and closing deals with organizations that are not currently subscribers. You will leverage our expertise in the energy market to articulate the unique value proposition of RTO Insider's premium intelligence and analysis platform. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth of a leading provider of critical insights for the power sector.

Primary Responsibilities
- Prospect and Generate Leads: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within target markets and organizations that do not currently subscribe to RTO Insider.
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement effective sales plans to penetrate new accounts and achieve ambitious new logo acquisition targets.
- Build Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within prospective client organizations.
- Present Value Proposition: Clearly and persuasively communicate the value of RTO Insider's services through compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proposals tailored to individual client needs.
- Manage Sales Cycle: Drive the full sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation and contract closure.
- Collaborate Internally: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and provide valuable market feedback.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Use CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to meticulously track all sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts.
- Stay Informed: Continuously develop your understanding of the energy industry, RTO/ISO market dynamics, and RTO Insider's product offerings.
- Meet and Exceed Sales Targets: Consistently achieve and surpass assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual new logo acquisition goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Energy Policy, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of proven success in a direct sales role, with a strong track record of acquiring new customers (hunter profile).
- Experience selling academic subscriptions, information services, or high-value business intelligence products is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the energy industry, particularly ISOs' and RTOs' operations and markets, is a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce experience is a plus).
- Ability to travel occasionally as needed.
