Position Summary
Join our 2026 Yes Energy Internship Program and enjoy the opportunity to work on exciting projects to shape your career in Marketing. The intern position will perform data analyses that provide insight on the marketing activities driving interest in Yes Energy’s products. Build your skill set and help our rapidly growing company. - Hourly Rate Range:
- $19.00/hr - 1st year Intern
- $20.00/hr - 2nd year Intern
- $21.00/hr - 3rd year Intern
- $22.00/hr - 4th year Intern
- Reports to: Marketing Director, Demand Generation
The intern will learn and be exposed to
- Fundamentals of on-page SEO, including keyword usage, content optimization, and basic technical SEO concepts
- How website content is structured, published, and optimized to support organic search performance
- How marketing activities, including SEO and content, support lead generation and contribute to the sales pipeline
- An introduction to marketing performance data, including website traffic and content engagement metrics
- Marketing operations fundamentals, including the behind-the-scenes processes that support campaign execution and reporting
- The importance of accurate and complete data in supporting marketing decisions
- Introductory exposure to the HubSpot marketing automation platform and content management system
- Introductory exposure to the Salesforce and Hubspot customer relationship management systems
- Basic exposure to advertising platforms such as Google and LinkedIn
- Tools used for data enrichment and company research, such as ZoomInfo
Project Work
Your official project depends on what skills you have and what skills you are looking to develop. They could include the following:
- Support on-page SEO initiatives by learning and applying foundational technical SEO and content optimization best practices across web properties
- Assist with building, optimizing, and maintaining SEO-driven content to improve organic visibility and performance
- Analyze and report on key marketing performance metrics related to demand generation programs and performance marketing channels
- Support analysis of how marketing activities contribute to pipeline development and overall business impact
- Assist with reporting tied to lead generation, campaign performance, and channel effectiveness
- Gain hands-on experience with the HubSpot Marketing Automation Platform, including data hygiene, campaign support, and performance tracking
- Support data enrichment and targeted list-building efforts to improve segmentation and outreach effectiveness
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Google Suite for Business or MS Office
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Ability to prioritize based on opportunities and effectively multitask
- Detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A strong desire to learn, grow, and explore new things
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Economics, or a similar field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Key Responsibilities
- Support basic analysis of marketing and website performance data to help identify simple trends and patterns
- Assist in gathering and organizing data from multiple marketing and reporting tools
- Help summarize findings and observations under guidance from the marketing team
- Communicate updates and learnings clearly in written and verbal formats
