About the Role

Yieldstreet is hiring a People Operations Associate to join our Human Resource team in Athens. The People Business Partner will work with the People Operations team to ensure all People functions are working seamlessly and providing a best-in-class experience to candidates interviewing with us and current employees. This person will also act as a local region Office Manager to ensure the best experience possible for our Athens team.

What you'll do:

  • HR Administration
    • Oversee documentation and compliance in accordance with Greek labor laws, including management of Remote Work and Leave Policy 
    • Support payroll and compensation for the Athens office
    • Support benefits administration for the Athens team including enrollment, responding to employee inquiries, and resolving issues
    • Manage the onboarding & off-boarding process for the Athens team in partnership with IT to ensure seamless transition for new hires and departing employees
  • People Operations Projects 
    • Lead and participate in projects aimed at improving People processes and workflows
    • Collect and analyze data to generate insights on People metrics and trends. Propose solutions to action on findings
    • Support People Ops in maintaining the data integrity of HRIS during compensation cycles and maintenance periods
  • Culture, Engagement & Office Management
    • Organize weekly lunches, team outings, and events with visitors
    • Maintain office supplies and setup; manage inbound and outbound mail
    • Collaborate closely with the company's Occupational Safety and Health Officer to proactively assess and address workplace health and safety needs, ensuring full compliance with legal regulations
  • Employee Relations
    • Act as the People point of contact in Athens for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support, and sharing insights to People leaders and Athens office lead as needed
    • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in HR administration, people operations, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with Greek labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations.
  • Experience navigating an HRIS system, bonus points for Rippling experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion, confidentiality, and thoughtfulness.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze data, generate insights, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Mastery of excel and/or google sheets.
  • A people-oriented mindset with a passion for building a positive and inclusive office culture, fostering relationships, and organization team events
