About the Role

As an iOS Engineer at you.com, this role involves spearheading the development and launch of innovative iOS applications that shape the future of mobile experiences. Working closely with dynamic, cross-functional teams, the iOS Engineer will transform visionary ideas into groundbreaking products. Responsibilities

  • Innovate and Architect: Design and develop sophisticated applications for the iOS platform, setting new standards for quality and functionality.
  • Collaborate and Influence: Work with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, design, and deploy features that push the boundaries of innovation.
  • Assure Quality: Write robust, reliable, and maintainable unit-tested code to ensure usability and exceptional application performance.
  • Enhance and Optimize: Address bug fixes and optimize application performance to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Explore and Implement: Adopt and integrate new technologies to improve development efficiency and elevate product quality.
  • Lead and Inspire: Drive the architecture and coding of complex modules while mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative, innovative environment.

Qualifications

  • iOS Development Expertise: 2-5 years of software development experience, with a proven track record of developing and launching impactful iOS applications.
  • Swift Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Swift, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • SwiftUI & UIKit Mastery: Expert-level skills in SwiftUI and UIKit, with experience building complex, user-centric interfaces that enhance the user experience.
  • Combine Framework Skills: Proficiency in the Combine framework, with expertise in implementing reactive programming patterns for managing data flow and asynchronous operations.
  • Architectural Knowledge: Experience in architecting large-scale iOS applications, including a deep understanding of design patterns, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Demonstrated technical leadership, with a history of guiding teams through complex challenges and mentoring junior developers.
  • Tech Stack Expertise: Broad knowledge of the iOS tech stack, with the ability to integrate frameworks and third-party libraries effectively.
  • Mobile Development Lifecycle: Comprehensive understanding of the mobile development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities for tackling complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Kotlin Multiplatform Knowledge (Nice to Have): Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) is a plus, indicating an interest in developing cross-platform applications with shared logic for iOS and Android.

Our salary bands are structured based on a combination of geographic tiers and internal leveling. Compensation is determined by multiple factors assessed during the interview process, with the final offer reflecting these considerations.

Salary Band

$175,000 - $240,000 USD
