WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Social Media Strategy: Build and define Yousician and GuitarTuna’s social and community presence from the ground up, setting the tone, direction, and cultural relevance of our brand.
• Channel Programming: Take full ownership of day-to-day publishing and channel health across platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and beyond. Create momentum through bold content and storytelling that connects with music lovers, learners, and creators where they already are.
• Community Building & Engagement: Build and grow an authentic community around playing music, learning and creation. You’ll connect directly with users, creators, and guitarists; amplify their voices; and develop partnerships that expand our reach. Your work will make Yousician and GuitarTuna feel present, personal, and alive.
• Content Performance & Insights: Partner with Growth and Data teams to track impact, uncover what resonates, and translate learnings into better creative and stronger engagement. You’ll help us build a feedback loop between content, product, and community – and use insights to refine our direction as we grow.

 

WHO YOU ARE

You might not come from a music-tech company. Maybe you’re a creator, community builder, or a social native who has run their own thing or grown channels from zero to something impactful. You’re platform fluent (especially TikTok), deeply tuned into internet culture, and have a strong point of view on how to build an audience organically. You know how to make people care, comment, and come back:

 

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role executing social media strategy or digital marketing. The focus is on executing – strategy slides don’t bring everyday impact.
• Thorough understanding of social media platforms, tools and best practices, with an eagerness to be involved in the social media landscape and connect with people across various channels.
• Organized, with high attention to detail and great project management skills to manage complex campaigns.  
• Exceptional communication skills that allow you to connect with a variety of users, communities, stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience creating and analyzing data reports to maximize performance.  
• Music or media industry experience, content creation/production experience, knowledge and an understanding of industry trends and new technologies a plus.
