Account Payable Specialist (Bilingual in Mandarin)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Account Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team in Port Reading, NJ. 

Responsibilities:

• Execute daily financial operations, including the verification, classification, and recording of accounts payable data.
• Coordinate with warehouse managers to validate invoices and provide support on all accounts payable inquiries.
• Process outgoing payments in accordance with established financial policies and procedures.
• Resolve billing discrepancies by maintaining clear and consistent communication with vendors.
• Ensure timely distribution of payment remittances to vendors.
• Maintain compliance with accounts payable regulations, including W-9 forms, sales tax, and other applicable requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant financial experience (exceptional recent graduates may also be considered).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive mindset toward problem-solving and process enhancement.
• Capable of following verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Close attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy.
• Proficient in English and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with warehouse expense accounting is a big plus
• Mandarin speaking is required
