HR Coordinator

About YQN:

YQN is a fast-growing, technology-driven international logistics platform offering FCL, LCL, air freight, trucking, customs clearance, warehousing, and more. We are expanding our U.S. warehouse network and are looking for an HR Coordinator to support our Romeoville, IL (SPR) warehouse operations.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on, on-site role split roughly evenly between recruiting and staffing (temporary labor) management. You will keep the warehouse staffed with the right people, coordinate with staffing agency partners, and support site leaders on day-to-day HR needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting (about 50%)

• Screen resumes, conduct phone screens, and schedule interviews for warehouse associate, lead, and supervisor roles.
• Coordinate interviews with site managers, follow up on feedback, and move candidates through each stage.
• Support offers, background checks, and onboarding paperwork for new hires.
• Keep candidate and hiring data up to date in Greenhouse and internal recruiting reports.

Staffing Management (about 50%)

• Work with staffing agencies to fill daily and weekly temporary labor needs based on Operations' headcount plans.
• Track temporary worker attendance, fill rate, and turnover, and follow up with agencies on gaps.
• Reconcile agency invoices against approved hours and flag discrepancies.
• Coordinate temp-to-hire conversions and onboarding with site leaders.
• Support site safety and onboarding training for new and temporary workers.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, HR coordination, or staffing agency coordination.
• Experience in warehousing, logistics, or high-volume hourly hiring preferred.
• Strong organization and follow-up skills; able to manage many open requests at once.
• Comfortable with Excel and applicant tracking systems.
• Clear communicator with candidates, managers, and vendors.
• Mandarin speaking preferred.

Work Location: On-site in Romeoville, IL.

Pay: $20 – $25 per hour, based on experience.
