Product Security & QA Lead
Prague
We’re shaping the next generation of RFID/NFC card readers for printers - redefining them as connected, remotely managed solutions where security and quality are non-negotiable. Our products are truly unique, seamlessly blending hardware and software, and are fully designed, developed, and manufactured in the Czech Republic.
We’re looking for someone who wants to actively influence how secure, high-quality, and testable products are built from the ground up.
This role brings together two key areas: product security and QA/test leadership, with an equal focus on both.
What you´ll do:
Build and lead QA strategy across the full solution:
- Build and own the QA concept from scratch (excluding manufacturing tests)
- Test strategy across hardware, firmware, mobile, web, backend
- Release quality gates and “definition of done”
- Risk-based testing and structured regression approach
- Drive automation and reduce manual testing
- Make quality measurable and visible
Own product security:
- Turn regulatory and security expectations into clear engineering requirements (CE/RED, CRA readiness, NIS2 context)
- Lead product security activities end-to-end
- Collaboration on creating documentation and evidence that stands up to audits and customer reviews
- Work closely with internal legal/security teams and external partners
About you:
Must-have:
- Senior experience in QA/testing of complex products (ideally embedded/IoT + software)
- Strong understanding of product security in practice
- Ability to build things from scratch - testing strategy, automation approach, quality gates
- Proactive mindset - you don’t wait for tasks, you define them
- Strong communication skills - you can explain risks, trade-offs, and priorities clearly
- You speak and write Czech, English is a plus
Nice to have:
- Experience with RFID/NFC and secure reader concepts
- Knowledge of Wiegand / OSDP or USB device integration
- Embedded security topics (secure boot, firmware signing, key provisioning, updates)
- Experience with RTOS/Linux environments and test automation (CI, Python, frameworks)
- Experience in compliance-driven environments (documentation, traceability, evidence)
Tech stack:
- Interfaces: USB, RFID, NFC, Wiegand/OSDP
- Embedded: RTOS, optional edge device on Yocto Linux
- Ecosystem: iOS/Android, web (Vue/React), backend
- Direction: cloud-managed readers connected via printers
We offer:
- 30 days of vacation + 3 sick days
- 12 days for education and self-development (Grow Days) + language education support
- Hybrid working environment with a flexible schedule (combination of home and office work)
- Cross-team collaboration with a great opportunity to learn new things and grow
- Reward system for public speaking
- Home office and meal allowances
- Daily refreshments in the office + community breakfasts, free 3D print
- Dog-friendly and bike-friendly offices
