The Role:
Yubico is looking for an ambitious and structured Junior Business Controller to join our growing Finance team in Stockholm. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career finance professional who wants to build a strong foundation in FP&A within a fast-paced, international tech company. Reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, you will play a hands-on role in our financial close and reporting processes. You will work closely with senior controllers to ensure data accuracy, support the implementation of new planning tools, and help turn financial data into actionable insights. Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Prepare variance analysis (Actuals vs. Budget/Forecast) and investigate discrepancies
- Actively support the maintenance and setup of our forecasting tools, ensuring data integrity to enhance forecast accuracy and budget processes
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring high quality and timeliness in financial reporting
- Assist the wider controlling team with ad-hoc analysis, data reconciliations, and presentation materials
- Participate in projects to streamline financial routines and improve internal controls
- This role reports directly to the Senior Director of FP&A
Basic Qualifications:
- 1-2 years in controlling, finance, audit, FP&A, BI or similar, or transitioning from accounting
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial analysis
- Experience in channel-driven, SaaS, cybersecurity or hardware/software businesses is a plus
- Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (NetSuite)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Swedish
- Experience with Office applications (e.g. G-Suite apps like Docs, Sheets and Slides)
- Positive working attitude, service-minded, problem solver and desire to learn
- Team player with cross-cultural savviness and flexibility to work closely with colleagues globally
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar; or equivalent practical experience
- Fluency in English and Swedish
