Role
We’re looking for an office manager to support our India offices. The ideal candidate has excellent organization skills, flexibility, is empathetic and a great communicator, and knows how to problem solve. Reporting to the Director of People, this role will provide strong and reliable support for Yugabyte office operations by maintaining and creating office procedures, communications, and safety protocols. Not only will your effects allow us to achieve organizational efficiency, you will nurture the pleasant work environment our people will love.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the office as the main point of contact in the reception area.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings and events, mailing and shipping packages
- Oversee and maintain office technology for uninterrupted functions, identify and fulfill office supply needs, maintain and manage vendors, and coordinate food delivery as needed
- Manage all aspects of the office’s space/infrastructure planning (moves, adds, and changes to workstations) and provide answers, resources, and solutions as requested
- Help keep the office clean and safe and ensure office compliances.
- Work closely with the People and IT Team to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding workflows
- Other ad-hoc activities as needed to support the people team with employee experience, events and other operational activities.
Requirements
- Proven office management experience of 5-8 years
- Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to adapt and grow as company evolves
- Experience in Google workplace or MS Office - Google Sheets/Excel, Docs/Word, Slides/PPT
