We’re looking for an exceptional and driven, high performer to help drive our global ESG strategy, reporting, and compliance efforts. What will you do?
Reporting into the Chief Sustainability Officer at Zafin, you will be responsible for the following-
- Drive ESG Reporting – Own monthly, quarterly, and annual sustainability reports with precision.
- Support Compliance – Ensure Zafin aligns with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, CDP, and evolving ESG regulations globally and in the regions we operate.
- Analyse & Benchmark – Conduct materiality assessments, carbon footprint analysis, GHG assessments, and climate risk modelling.
- Embed ESG into Business – Identify and implement ESG opportunities across operations, strategy, and culture.
- Influence & Collaborate – Work with Sales, Product, Marketing, Risk, Finance, People & Culture, and Compliance teams to advance ESG priorities.
- Track & Report Metrics – Maintain accuracy and transparency in key ESG KPIs and performance tracking on our path to Net Zero.
- Be a Thought Leader – Represent Zafin in sustainability forums, industry collaborations and discussions.
What do you need to Succeed?
- 5+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or climate risk, preferably in Technology, Banking, Financial Services, or Advisory sectors.
- Data-Driven & Detail-Oriented – ESG reporting is both a science and a strategy; you see the big picture and the fine print.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in carbon footprint analysis, GHG assessment, and climate risk modelling.
- Excel Power User – Strong data analysis skills and a keen interest in leveraging #AI to enhance productivity and the ability to translate these insights into action.
- Expertise in Rating platforms – Familiarity with ESG rating platforms like Ecovadis is a plus.
- Exceptional Communicator – Able to simplify complex sustainability frameworks and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-Motivated & Curious – A lifelong learner who stays ahead of the latest in ESG trends and innovation.
