What is the opportunity?
Lead and enable successful program delivery through active engagement, collaboration, and accountability. This includes:

  • Driving delivery excellence across teams by fostering a hands-on, solution-oriented culture.
  • Acting as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
  • Championing the customer experience by anticipating challenges, resolving issues proactively, and ensuring smooth execution through all phases of delivery.
  • Strengthening internal capability by mentoring and coaching team members, building shared understanding of our delivery model, and embedding best practices.
  • Reinforcing Zafin’s commitment to partnership - with customers, internal teams, and ecosystem stakeholders - through collaboration, transparency, and technical credibility.
  • Promoting continuous improvement in how we plan, communicate, and execute, at every stage

What will you do?

Program Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead cross-functional teams (internal and customer) in end-to-end delivery of complex programs.
  • Facilitate collaborative working sessions to co-create solutions, resolve issues, and drive shared ownership.
  • Ensure program objectives, deliverables, and timelines are met with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage during critical delivery periods (including evenings and weekends as needed) to maintain continuity and support.

Customer Experience & Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders, ensuring their priorities are clearly understood and addressed.
  • Partner with support and operations teams to ensure rapid issue resolution and a seamless customer experience.
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally to influence continuous product and process improvement.

Technical Understanding & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain a strong grasp of Zafin’s products, architecture, and delivery model to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with technical leads to identify opportunities to strengthen delivery processes, tooling, and integration.
  • Encourage innovation and knowledge-sharing across teams to enhance delivery capability.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build a high-performance environment through mentorship, feedback, and empowerment.
  • Drive collaboration across business, delivery, and technical streams to align on outcomes and mitigate risks early.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and shared success.

Governance & Reporting

  • Provide clear, concise reporting to stakeholders on status, risks, and issues.
  • Ensure governance frameworks are applied consistently and adapted as needed to support program success.

What do you need to succeed? 
Must have: 

  • Minimum of 10 years in banking or financial services with a focus on corporate and institutional clients.
  • Solid understanding of business concepts and issues, preferably in banking, core banking, core modernization, pricing & billing, in retail and/or corporate and commercial banking.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing enterprise-level banking software solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, compliance requirements, and quality standards.

Additional Job Details

  • Expected Salary: $150,000 - $180,000
  • Vacancy Status: Open Position to be filled
  • Mode of Work: Hybrid
  • Use of AI: Zafin may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) and/or other forms of automated technology to screen and/or assess applicants for this position. Zafin will not utilize AI for conducting interviews and/or making hiring decisions.
