Role

As a Senior AI Engineer you will build a unique set of AI agent infrastructure that will power our trading super-app.

Shipping features fast and with low friction is a core belief of Zap. This role is a fit for anyone with front-end or full-stack expertise. We are looking for highly driven individuals who can wear multiple hats when needed. This is an in person-role for our Athens office.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement an AI agent infrastructure powering our core platform
• Scale our machine learning and AI capabilities
• Configure monitoring, deployment, and developer tooling to improve system reliability and multiply engineering efficiency
• Continue to grow your AI engineering skills and help others on the team by participating in design and code reviews
  
  

Requirements

Must have

• Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into production applications
• Proven experience with LLM-based and AI-based pipelines and applications
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, model tuning, or vector databases for improved model performance
• English fluency (written & oral)

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with popular AI frameworks and tools, such as Eliza
